A total of 101 enthusiastic players competed over four sections!

Won by International Master Lawrence Trent with 5.5 points (£60) from the 6 games and FIDE Master Giampoaolo

Buchicchio came second with 5/6 and won £30.
The grading prize was won jointly by Ray Cannon and Craig Kennedy with 3.5/6.


For players grade by the English Chess Federation under 160.  This was won cleanly by John Daugman with 5/6 (£60).

He was followed by Nathan Goldberg, Chris Davison and Peter Batchelor with 4.5/6.
The grading prize (Under 145) was won by Shane McCabe with 4/6.


For players graded Under 130 ECF.  This was won jointly by Adrian Somerfield, Stephen Gilmour and Jonathan Landau

with 5/6. They each won £30.
John Torrance, Tim Davison, Malcolm Winter and Tim Crouch each won £5 grading prizes for those players Under 115.


For players grade under 100 ECF.  This was won by Elliot Briery (98) with 5.5/6 (£60).  Daniel Arnett was second

with 5/6 (£30).
The Under 85 grading prize went to Ivan Briery (74) and Patrick Abrams (82) with 4/6.
