[25th July 2009] The Golders Green Rapidplay #chess tournament takes place on Saturday 1st August 2009! http://www.goldersgreenchess.blogspot.com

On Saturday the 1st August 2009 we host another of our monthly rapidplays (you get half an hour per player for the game) at Golders Green

The event is six rounds, so you get six games.  We start promptly at 10.30am, finish at 5.45pm at the latest and you can even enter online now and save yourself some money at www.goldersgreenchess.blogspot.com - you can also find complete crosstables from our events going back four years!

The City of London Rapidplay Chess League is under way - you can read about it here!  Thanks to Joe Farrell and Shaun Tracey of Metropolitan and Hackney Chess Club for organising this excellent event.

Hendon Chess Club hosts the regular 10 minute Blitz tournament on Thursday 6th August 2009.  The tournament is 6 rounds and starts at 7.30pm promptly, and all are welcome.  Just turn up and enter on the night.  Our website www.hendonchessclub.com has all the details you'll need including results and photographs from the last event.

Best wishes

Here is a list of FIDE registered tournaments in England. There will be a separate entry for each section of each event (e.g. Golders Green Rapidplay = 4 sections, 4 registrations). If you see any of mine missing, do let me know!

Scroll down to the bottom to access the archive of events.

Only games where at least one of the players has a published standard FIDE rating will be rated, and included in the rating calculations of the unrated player. Where both players are rated, the game will affect both players and will be included in the calculations for both players.
