This Saturday, 14th November 2009 we host another of our monthly rapidplays (you get half an hour per player for the game) at Golders Green

The sections are now OPEN, Under 170, Under 145 and Under 120 to reflect the changes in the way the ECF grading is now calculated.  Please check your grade before entering!
The entry fee on the day is now £20.00 but if you enter online the fee is unchanged at a bargain £15.00!

The event is six rounds, so you get six games.  We start promptly at 10.30am, finish at 5.45pm at the latest and you can even enter online now and save yourself some money at www.goldersgreenchess.blogspot.com - you can also find complete crosstables from our events going back four years!

London Chess Classic Women's Invitational [08/11/09]
Lawrence Cooper reports: I have at least one spare place in the London Chess Classic Women's Invitational which takes place from 8-15 December at the London Olympia Conference Centre in Kensington. It is a ten-player, nine-round all-play-all and WIM norms will be available. Please apply to Lawrence Cooper lozcooper@hotmail.com for further details.

Entry fee is £100 and includes access to the The Classic which includes world number two Magnus Carlsen, former world champion Vladimir Kramnik as well as England's top four players.
