Here's a list of prizewinners from the June 12th event:

International Master Mark Ferguson and Chris Ross (Braille CA) 5.5/6 and £45 each

The grading prize for players under ECF 180 was shared by Gayan Pereis (Hendon CC), Peter Batchelor and Ravi Haria on 4/6 winning £10 each.

Helge Hjort (Hendon CC), John Daugman and Andrey Bondarev all scored 4.5/6 and won £30 each.  Jonathan Landau, Martin Baker and Alan Parsons all scored 4/6 and won £10 as their share of the Under 155 grading prize.

Nigel Kerby and Dipak Shah won £45 each for their excellent 5/6.  Anand Balaji won £20 for the Under 130 grading prize with 4/6.

David Buckland and Henry Armburg-Jennings scored 5/6.  As David had a full grade we awarded him the first place and the majority of the prize fund.  Gutan Jain and Valerio Falasca scored 4.5/6 and shared the Under 105 grading prize winning £10 each.

Well, June's "Sunshine" Blitz had a large turnout, and was closely fought with a number of strong players tussling at the top. Streatham & Brixton's Robin Haldane and Hendon's Bogdan-Liviu Stefan and Gayan Peiris came out on top.  Why not play next time?

10 minutes each, six rounds. 7.30pm start, St Alban's Church Hall – see you there! Our website has all the details you need.

Only games where at least one of the players has a published standard FIDE rating will be rated, and included in the rating calculations of the unrated player. Where both players are rated, the game will affect both players and will be included in the calculations for both players.
