Golders Green and Hendon Chess Club Events

The next Golders Green Rapidplay is Saturday, 7th August 2010. You can enter online or download a form and send it to me with a cheque.  PLEASE NOTE that scoresheets are not provided - you can buy an excellent scorebook from http://www.chess.co.uk/ if you need one to write your games down.

Use the online entry form to be eligible for the discounted entry fee. Entry online or by post is £15.00, £14.00 for Juniors Under 16, all other entries will be charged £20.00 on the day (£14.00 for Juniors and members of Hendon Chess Club).

Muswell Hill's Phil Makepeace won our July Blitz, ahead of Hendon's Gayan Peiris and Robin Haldane from Streatham & Brixton. A bumper 32 players participated.  Why not play next time?  Held the First Thursday of every month, all year long.

10 minutes each, six rounds. 7.30pm start, St Alban's Church Hall – see you there! Our website has all the details you need.

Here is a list of FIDE registered tournaments in England. There will be a separate entry for each section of each event (e.g. Golders Green Rapidplay = 4 sections, 4 registrations). If you see any of mine missing, do let me know! 

Scroll down to the bottom to access the archive of events. 

Only games where at least one of the players has a published standard FIDE rating will be rated, and included in the rating calculations of the unrated player. Where both players are rated, the game will affect both players and will be included in the calculations for both players.
