An excellent central venue for the chess events.

VENUE: 57-61 Heath Street, Hampstead, London NW3 6UG

Come out of Hampstead (Northern Line) underground and turn right up the hill - and there it is!

SATURDAY 16th July

11am: International Masters John-Paul Wallace, Lorin d'Costa and Angela Eyton from Heathside Preparatory School (http://heathside.net/index) doing free coaching sessions and workshops for kids all day

1pm: ECF President CJ de Mooi doing a simul (email if you are coming) on Saturday 16th July from 1pm onwards and Lorin taking over from about 3pm if CJ gets tired!

SUNDAY 17th July

11am: International Master (and Australian Champion) John-Paul Wallace from http://www.wallacechess.comdoing coaching for kids and then a simultaneous display at 1pm open to all - email me if you are coming.

12pm: ChessBase drop-in workshop with Nick Murphy, "The voice of ChessBase".

ChessBoxing displays further up Heath Street from Tim Woolgar, Rajko Vujatovic and guests http://londonchessboxing.com/

All the above events are open to all, free, but donations will be gratefully accepted in support of the Henderson Court day centre, an Age UK charity, which is very popular and well-established in Hampstead but is under threat due to huge funding cuts.

The Wallace Chess Summer Camp runs through July to the first week of September. The camp is held at Swiss Cottage Community Centre and the Hellenic Centre in Marylebone. Children may either attend a full 4 day week or single days. Discounts for early bookings and siblings. Only games where at least one of the players has a published standard FIDE rating will be rated, and included in the rating calculations of the unrated player. Where both players are rated, the game will affect both players and will be included in the calculations for both players.
