Imperial College Chess Congress

Dear Players,

The Imperial College Chess Congress, the first central London based
congress in a while to grace the capital, is approaching fast! The
FIDE rated (and British Championship qualifying!) event is being held
at the Imperial College Union, next to and playing in the shadow of
the lovely Royal Albert Hall. There are Open, Major (U2000/U170) and
Minor (U140) sections available to enter. The venue is a short walk
from High Street Kensington, Gloucester Road and South Kensington tube

London based players can obviously book into the event and attend from
the comfort of their own homes! In addition, there is a discount
available to all entries paid by the 14th of October 2011 (next
Friday). I would encourage you to get your entries in as soon as
practically possible to take advantage of this!

I am looking forward to hearing from as many of you that would like to
play in this historic event (the first congress IC have hosted in over
a decade!) as possible in the coming days. Please contact me if you
have any questions or comments. You can enter online:

Here is a list of FIDE registered tournaments in England. There will be a separate entry for each section of each event (e.g. Golders Green Rapidplay = 4 sections, 4 registrations). If you see any of mine missing, do let me know!

Scroll down to the bottom to access the archive of events.

Only games where at least one of the players has a published standard FIDE rating will be rated, and included in the rating calculations of the unrated player. Where both players are rated, the game will affect both players and will be included in the calculations for both players.
